Default Is a 1991 Toyota MR2 a good car for how old it is?

I found an Mr2 for $3,800 with 198,000 miles on it. It says it has power steering, Windows, Door Locks, and Mirrors. I would like to find out how many more miles the car lives and if it is a good price. Just because it is a Toyota it is possible that it can die soon. I want experts to tell me generally at how many miles is thier breaking point

You just can't go wrong with Toyota!!! I would check the Kelly Blue Book, just to be safe. Especially with that many miles!! I have been reading really great reviews on the MR2, including the 1991. With proper care, those older Toyotas have been known to go 300K miles!!! I have heard that on all Toyotas the timing chain should be replaced every 90k for ultimate performance and reliability!
