i have a 96 toyota corolla and the car won start plus my security light is on how can i reset?

Default i have a 96 toyota corolla and the car won start plus my security light is on how can i reset?
I have checked the battery and it's fine. the toyota security light is on all the time, but i can turn the key and the dash lights and the radio come on, so i know it's not the battery.

Did u check u battery is the cAr engine turning over if could. Your starter

you may need to disconnect your battery and reconnect it in a minute, and try it again.

I don't know the specific 'how-to' of fixing it, but sometimes it happens because there could be a default in the automatic door lock (security light), the battery on your key fob could be on its way out, etc. Check your users manual (if you don't have one, you can do a search online; lots of car makes have them for free), to see how to reset the door lock.































And (don't ask how I know this.......) if you have an automatic, just 'check' to see that your car is not in Drive...while you can turn off the car while in gear, you cannot start it for safety reasons......
