How much work is it to swap an engine from a 01 camry to a 94 camry and what all would I need?

Depends on the engine, if it is a 4 cyl to 4 cyl; or 6 to 6 then it wont be so bad or expensive.































You will need the ECU from the newer model, and a lot of skill. Because the engine harness and wiring may be different; actually more than likely it will be different...































Why would you want to swap? It would cost a lot probably around 5 grand to get it done right, that is just assuming labor cost of a tech who knows how to swap and wire engines...































Why not just rebuild your engine for that price?

A swap would like be costly (mount brackets, wiring, etc). Consider just doing a rebuild. If you are trying to move to a V6 than get a 6 from that body style. Aside from the current generation, the model of Camry you have is the best ever made.
