Default Celica or the Mustang?

I have a Celica GT and my friend has a Mustang GT he thinks that his car would fly by mine if we were to drag race them. My GT a 2004 and his GT is only a 2001, he wouldn't stand a chance right?

but my celica GT is Blue and his is yellow

He would probably beat you because you are running a fwd inline 4 motor with 140 hp unless you have mods, and his mustang is a v8 with 225 hp and rwd so he would probably kill you, celicas suck sorry

hate to break it to you, but the GT would win. Your car is only bringing in about 140hp stock. The Mustang is bringing in 260hp stock. Depending if his car is completely stock and you have some mods done then you may have a chance. But overall the Mustang GT would beat you.

The mustang will leave you sitting at the stoplight. A V6 mustang would leave you sitting at a stoplight, let alone a V8. Not trying to be rude or anything its just a very obvious answer.

colors dont matter, looks dont matter, hell year of the car doesnt matter half the time, performance matters. stock 8 cyl car will crush a stock 4 cyl car. common sense.

To be honest if he has a v6 stang it would be a close race and would actually come down to shifting.

There is a HP difference between the two cars however the V6 stang has a high 7 second 0-60 just like the Celica GT.

The reason those would be the same is because even though the mustang has more HP.... it also weighs around 600 pounds more than the Celica.

I have personally seen a Honda Odyssey mini-van beat a V6 mustang.

On the other hand if his car is a V8.... you don't have much of a chance against a car that does 0-60 in the mid to low 6 second range.
