it does not make no difference how long you have owned it, as long as it is paid for and you have a clear title for it, however they are not buying them all back, you have to call and make an appointment with your nearest toyota dealer, they will inspect it and tell you if they will















buy it back or not.

My boss took his to the dealership to have it inspected and asked the same question. The representative there told him that the truck needs to be from 95 1/2 (first yr for tacoma) to 2001. Doesn't matter if it is paid off or not because his was not. I think he said you have to own the truck for more than a year because people were abusing the recall and making money on the junked ones.
