Default 2000 Toyota Camry V6?
i was washing my car and i i stuck my finger on the in exhaust pipe and their was black residue on my finger what is it the 02 censors are making the check engine light come on would that be the problem

that black residue is a byproduct of combustion. it's normal.















the check engine light you will have to get it scanned. i don't know where you live but autozone scans it for free. or you can take it to a toyota dealer.
