i would just go buy one first you give the parts store right info not many times wil you get a wrong part

Well my 88 pickup has 298,000 km on it and I have never changed one
ball joint replacement but I do keep them greased I did have to change a tie rod end because I damaged the boot off roading.

Ball Joint replacement should be inspected before they're greased (since grease takes up some of the slack in the joint). Ball joints are pretty easy to check, but each type requires a different inspection procedure.
