you will have to replace spark plugs at around 120K. that's what toyota recomends. but personally, i would do them now. with almost 80K miles and 6 years... i think it's time. check your transmission fluid. if it's anyother color other than a strawberry red, you will need to have it flushed. please take it to the dealer for this. it takes a special fluid from toyota called type T-IV. all your other fluids should also be replaced with time, mileage and condition.
the shaking thing is normal for corollas and matrix. they do idle a little rough. but if it gets really bad, like the car shakes from the inside, then your engine mounts are starting to sag and get week and you will have to replace them. other than those things.. the car should be fine.
