Actually you have a 2.2 liter 5S-FE engine contrary to what the previous answer said. If you want a V6, it is in fact cheaper to sell yours or trade yours for a V6 Camry.Your car will support the V6 (which is why you have so much space under your hood) but you will need the engine, tranny, mounts and ECU. Still why would you want to do that? Your 4 cylinder is one ofthe best- if not the best engine on the planet. The V6s are reliable but they are much more expensive to repair (due to it being used in the Lexus as well) and they are prone to oil sludging. The jury is still out on whether or not it is because of head design, poor maintenance or both. I do know a lot of people with the V6 that have over 200K that have never had a problem but I also know alot of people that have had the oil sludge issue on there V6 Camrys. 4 cylinders never had the issue and your engine should be good for at least 400K miles with proper maintenance.
