Why do Supras look so ugly in the inside?

Why is that?

I mean they look so nice and done up on the outside but then inside look like you know, lame

most 12-15 year old cars have pretty ugly interiors by todays standards.

I actually love the inside of a supra.

Very few cars give you that "in the cockpit" feel when you get in them like the supra does.

Lame? Look inside any Toyota, new or old, and they all look lame. Toyota has no sense of style or line. Their idea of design is drab, line-less, wobbly curved, and dripping in cheap silver painted plastic. Just look at a 2010 Camry and you will know what I mean. Toyota does this so that you must pay an extra $500.00 or more to have a wood trim package put in. When I think of the word Toyota, I also think of cheesy at the same time.

So you can say, "That car has an ugly interior" as it destroys you on a drag strip. It actually looks better (and is built better) than any interior the domestics are offering. the car doesn't look ugly if you understand ergonomics.

Maybe because they were engineered and designed in between 1988-1992..... by Toyota designers. Maybe you haven't seen the interior of a 94 celica, or 94 landcruiser, heck the 96 avalon. You remember the clothes people wore in the late 80's and early 90's? Not so stylish anymore are they?
