JOHN HAS A GOOD POINT. IT ONLY TAKES A NOTCH OFF TO DISTURB THE TIMING OF THE VEHICLE. ANOTHER QUICK PEEK WOULD BE THE MAF. MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR.PLUGGED USUALLY WHERE THE AIR FILTER BOX OR SOMEWHERE ALONG THE AIR INTAKE LINE. IVE SEEN A FEW GO BAD ON THESE CARS. TRY HAVING SOMEONE TAP IT OR EVEN DISCONNECT IT WHILE REVVING THE ENGINE. IF YOU BREAK PAST 3000RPM, THIS IS YOUR CULPRIT.
