got a 1999 yota 4runner, sometimes when im at lights, the car will drop into very low RPM and then the car will cut off, it goes idle and shuts off after low rpm
I had the same problem on my Ford Escort. Try cleaning the throttle body. Go to the store and get a can of Throttlee body cleaner. Take off the black air intake hose one end is to the air filter the other is thethrottlee body. While the car is off havesomebodyy press the gas and that should open it. Just spray thethrottlee body cleaner in there. Keepsprayingg andSprayy a lot of it. Then put the hose back on. When I did it I had a really hard time starting itbecausee of all the stuff in the engine. So just keep turning it over and keep trying. Once it starts you will see white smoke come out. It could come out a lot but that's ok. Keep it around 2,000 rpm's while the white smoke is still coming out. I did not see the result's in the driveway. I took it for a ride and once the engine started going and all the stuff is out of the engine it should be better. It only take's less than a half an hour and the spray should be under $5. It used to stall all the time on me and now it run's like a new car.
