That's a good choice. It's definitely extremely reliable, and will last a very long time. And I believe that all XLEs have the wood trim.

Buick Lacrosse (2010 - also AMAZING, not the 2009 though)
Not all American cars are good, but I definitely trust Ford and Buick (especially Buick). Make sure you stay away from Chrysler though.
I prefer foreign cars, but my personal choice would be the Lacrosse, and then the Taurus (they are around the same price as the Camry). The Taurus was ranked as one of the most reliable cars even made, and they were the best selling sedans between 2002 and 2004. It really comes down to you. Test drive several cars and do all your homework before you buy.
