Freon is dirt cheap. The reason why it's leaking out, however, might not be so cheap.































Just get an Freon charge kit from your local store for 15-20 bucks. It make just be a slow leak, in which case you would be good for a while.

Usually, on the hood panel towards inside, there is an air conditioning label that indicates the amount of refrigerant required for refill. There is no Freon in your system. Is called R142A refrigerant. On your vehicle could take for up to 650 g (about 1 1/2 lb). Should you have a slow leak, you will have to take the car to a shop. The only way to recharge the system is to use a rechargeable machine designated for this type of job.
