is there a difference on a regular 2wd toyota tacoma and the 4x4 (02-04)?

Default is there a difference on a regular 2wd toyota tacoma and the 4x4 (02-04)?
i know the suspenions is different since the 4x4 and prerunner is a lot higher then the regular lower 2wd models, but are the front end body panels the same? like hood fendersgrill and lights? i dont see why it wouldnt be, but for some reason the lower regular tacoma looks so much smaller than the 4x4 models. thank you for the help.















corolla and camry? isnt that more like tacoma and tundra?































since they are both tacomas, shouldnt the body panels be the same? does anyone else have any idea cause this other dude didnt help much

It has a body of 4wd Tacoma except is 2wd. It is nothing like regular cab Tacoma. Its like a Corolla and a camry

the 4x4 probably comes stock with beefier tires and thus looks bigger, but they come stock with generally the same (or interchangeable) parts. the 4x4 might have slightly different panels than the 2wd model to make it look meaner.
