How many psi can i safely run on a stock 92 celica gt engine without paying too much?

Default How many psi can i safely run on a stock 92 celica gt engine without paying too much?
I have a stock 92 celica gt liftback ST184 engine. I want to put a turbo without paying too much please tell me what psi i can run without changing pistons and cams and stuff. I can change the injectors or anything else that doesn't cost too much. Thanks

Well I am not a celica expert so I can not say. But there are turbo sites that have turbo kits that are made for almost any and all cars so I would check around for a decent turbo site! But if I had to take a guess on the psi I would say around 5-10 because my supra runs 6-8 stalk but can be upped to 10-15

being a st184 i am guessing that the motor fitted in you car is a 5sfe which is toyota's fuel efficient motor not a g series like 3sg or 3stge the later being turbo if you have a 3sge they you could Simply just fit a turbo kit from the 3sgte gt4 back to the 5sfe not sure if there is a turbo kit made for this motor but the g series will run 12to 15psi with no problem up to 16psi in short intervals
