Default does anyone know the correct transmission fluid for a 1989 toyota 2c diesel motor?
and the quantity?















i rang 2 toyota service centers they didnt know coz engine is 20 years old they dont care. tried shell and valvoline websites couldnt find any online lube guidelines. just products but no suggestion of which product to use.































thanks for help anyway, this engine is impossible to find any information on. i have been googling and searching for over a week trying to find this out....















and its a manual btw...















got it sorted thanks to personal visit to toyota so i could speak to a real mechanic and not just a moron on the phone....

Go to any oil manufactuer's website, and use the online lube guide. It will tell you everything you need!

Just use a standard mineral gear oil - 80W/90.
