Default How to eliminate MAF in 2jzge?
how do i eliminate MAF sensor, because im doing custom cai and some other stuff in the engine bay. so if you guys know- please let me know. thanx

you cannot eliminate the maf sensor and expect good results.unlike carb.motors the maf reads the amount of incoming air to the engine.the ecm then along with other sensor information controls injector pulse width(on time).it will run with it off but not well.

You don't have to eliminate an MAF in order to build a custom intake. In fact, it wouldn't be the smartest thing to do considering it measures the incoming air for appropriate fuel metering.































The only reason you would eliminate it would be if you were going with an MAP (manifold absolute pressure) setup.
