2000 Camry XLE - Installing Back License Plate?

Default 2000 Camry XLE - Installing Back License Plate?
I just purchased a 2000 XLE, when I got home and didn't realize that the bolts that hang the back license plate have been cut. I believe they were cut because the bolts were rusted over and couldn't remove the old plate any other way.































What is the best way for me to install a license plate since the cut bolt is flush with the trunk.

Don't know Toys, but American cars usually have a plastic insert that pushes into a hole in the rear deck, then the screw threads into this plastic insert, not into the sheet metal. If you have one of those inserts, you can pop-it-out from the inside of the trunk.

Buy a tap and dye set. And tap them out with a drill. Some shops will do this for $10-20.00. Or drill the holes bigger use bigger bolts and there you go.
