Hey I bought an '87 supra, Not turbo. straight 6, 24 valve engine nice car. 78 thousand miles. The former owner had it sitting in their driveway for a Long time I am guessing years. When I fire it up, it soon dies if I don't give it a lot of gas. Sometimes when driving it, it will die and the steering wheel will lock and then I am usually ****ed. But yeah there is a big hose going from the top of the heads to the middle of the block which is cracked a little by the top section, but I doubt this is the problem. Help? email me at henrygeerlings@yahoo.com if you know a Lot about these cars
Change the fuel filter, air filter, oil, and filter, plugs, wires and PCV valve, which could solve that problem. I am guessing that hose you are referring to is the PCV valve, you might want to take a pic of it, so I can take a look.
