dont really matter since the Toyota version is to be sold in Japan only and the States are suppose to get the Subaru version. fyi FT means Future Toyota. ever heard of the FT-HS? that stands for Future Toyota Hybrid Sports so FT in FT-86 stands for Future Toyota 86.... and 86 is from the Corolla/Levin/Trueno AE86 which is known in the drift world.
may get Celica name may get Levin/Trueno/Corolla 86 name. as for it being a Scion, there is a rumor that Scion will get it as a tC replacement which will be extrmely different since Subaru will get one for the States. so who knows... to soon to tell, but a production model should be shown next year. the concept they have now is already a working driving car.
