Does anyone know if Toyota will ever come out with a 2 door Camry coup?

It seems like everything Toyota makes in cars is a 4 door except for all those little Scions, and Yaris models which are too small for me....No Camry coup....NO corolla Coup....No Avalon coup?!! Even the Camry Solara coup is gone now! What gives? Guess I'll have to go over to Honda!

The Solara WAS the Camry coupe/convertible. Toyota just called it a different name. Now that the Solara has been discontinued, I do not think you will see a Camry coupe or anything like it.

Before you buy a Honda, go look at the new Hyundai Genesis coupe. It's a sharp looking car and is getting great reviews.

2 door cars are just not that big of a demand anymore. Acura discontinued the RSX and the CL a few years ago citing no market for the 2 door cars and that their 4 door models outsold them by a lot.

most car companies don't make 2 door cars anymore except for some roadsters like Miata & BMW z series.

Yuo could go with the honda but even those aren't big sellers and there's no knowing when Honda will discontinue it. Like a previous answer said, the market isn't that big for two doors. A car the size of a Solara or Accord coupe aren't sporty anyway- which is what most people buying 2 doors are looking for. 2 doors are complete waste of money if they are just sedans with two doors- even if they are styled differently. Most people who buy 2 door cars want something that is trendy. That's why sportscars are constantly being redesigned. They sell well for the first two years, then the sells drop until the next redesign.

TOYOTA MAKES BILLIONS BECAUSE THEY GIVE WHAT PEOPLE WANT MOST. NOT A SUPRA THAT ACCOUNTS FOR LESS THEN ..025% OF SALES WHEN SOLD.. EVERYBODY COMPLAINS BUT THEY ARE ONE OF MOST SUCCESFUL COMPANY IN WORLD.
