Going to buy Toyota Supra need advice.?

I'm going to the marines and will be saving my money for a while and want to buy a Toyota Supra. I really like the newer MKIV models but what kinda shoud i get? Keep speed in mind. Just the best year to look for and all

There's about a million ways to answer this question.

I would recommend it as your daily/only driver.

The best to get is a '93-'97 Twin Turbo 6 speed. But they are expensive now, and only getting more valuable.

If you plan on modding it, you can get something cheaper and just replace/upgrade as needed.

But really you're going to be in the Marines for at least 4 years. What you want can change a lot in that time. What's out there can change a lot.

When you are actually ready to buy and have $50K in hand. Then ask this question because then you'll have a much better idea of what you want and can actually afford.

My boyfriend had an 85 toyota supra that had the twin turbo ro wahtever.. i dont know the specs but he loved taht thing to death and it lasted forever

It all depends on budget the MK4 comes as an non turbo which is good fun rapid rwd 3.0l and instant power the auto version has a mnaula control also so you can drive it bothwith 220bhp and options to mod these are fun cars.

The TT is the ultimate version but again depends on budget and the na version is great fun also,this features a tt setup which can see over 1000bhp.

Best year all the mk4's are great do not be shy of the auto's as said these are nothing like Aunty Mays automatic mpv and Toyota gave the auto's the higher trim spec over the manulas versions.
