What is wrong with this 95 Toyota Tercel?

Default What is wrong with this 95 Toyota Tercel?
It is a 1.5 Fuel injected 4cylinder model. It shuts off unexpectedly every other time it is driven. It doesn't feel like the problem is fuel related. I've changed the coil and the ignition relay with no improvement. It still shuts off randomly out of nowhere. Any ideas of where to look next or what to replace next would be great. Thanks

Yeah, the yellowpages, for a mechanic.































None of us are there to diagnose the car, or troubleshoot it. We can guess, but all it is, is guesses.































Take it to someone who knows what they're doing, and get it fixed.

Yup all a guess but I would say the problem lies with either the fuel pump circuit open relay or the pump itself. This is given your coil is actually good. Either that or you could have a crankshaft sensor covered in oil that fails.

How about check engine light? How many miles? For good diagnoses we need as much info as possible. I own a 93 and a 96.
