Default Best mods on a 2000 toyota corolla?
I'm 17 and my mom gave me her white toyota corolla CE. What are some things that will make it sound, look, and run better?

cat back exhaust, upgraded ignition wires and good set of ngk spark plugs, new fuel filter every year and get the cold air intake.

Sport Compact Car magazine upgraded that version with TRD Toyota Racing Development lowering springs, gas struts, stainless steel muffler, and short throw kit. They also upsized the Tire and Wheels to a size 17 i believe. Their results were slalom at 71 mph... crazy agile and sticky. some five plus horsepower from the muffler. That model corrolla does not use ignition wires. It is a distributerless ignition system...it comes with Denso Iridium Plugs, be sure to replace them with Iridium because there is not better substance for spark plugs, currently.































A short ram intake would help, but only if you have a five speed, otherwise just throw in a K&N drop in air filter.































There are turbo kits, but your talking big big dollars then...
