It has two pedals, a gas pedal and a break pedal.

Same as any other automatic transmission car - one for go, one for stop.































The Prius doesn't have an actual transmission, but the hybrid transaxle is the equivalent of a CVT. There is no such thing as a manual transmission in a Prius - there is no place to put one.

There are three:































- Accelerator pedal































- Brake pedal































- Parking brake pedal































Toyota has gone to great lengths to make the Prius' driving feel just like an automatic transmission equipped car, although they could have made it feel far different.
