Default Check Engine Light on a 2000 Toyota Echo?
Hello















I just started my Echo today and I noticed for the first time that the check engine light has turned on.















I also want to mention that I put in STP Fuel Injector Cleaners the day before. When I bought the car, the man said he fixed up the EVAP System recently. What seems to be the problem?

You need to find out what code is triggering the CEL. Many of the big-chain parts retailers will check the code for you for free. Without the code, any answer given here would be a wild guess. It could be as simple as a loose gas cap, or something more complex like a non-functional injector or a failing computer module.
