The shocks on that car have nothing to do with the ride height. If it's too low, you'll need to replace the springs.
Some trucks and vans have "load leveling" shocks that do affect the ride height, but you won't generally see them on a car. Normal shocks control the movement of the suspension, but don't bear any load, and as such, do not affect ride height.
