First, try the wiring on the battery, which probably isn't the problem.
Second, get your battery tested...auto zone does it for free.
Third, if it isn't your battery, then it probably is your alternator, if thats the case, sorry buddy. They arent too expensive, but still, its a kick in the pocket.
More than likely it's the battery because of the red battery light and the dimmed lights. As long as the alternator works, you can still start with a jump and keep running.
