Default 2009 Corolla S AND general question.?
I've most recently been noticing a slight squealing noise when on and off the accelerator, as in pressing the gas a bit and letting off. It's only when pressing the gas a bit, and around 2,500 to 3,500 rpm's do I notice it. Would you be concerned? It's very slight, the average person might not even notice it. I have reason to believe it to be related to the belt drive pulley or pulleys, maybe even a tensioning issue. I'm contemplating coating a few areas with some WD40... Thoughts...

Its under warranty so use it. Take it to the dealer and tell them to fix it. Wont cost you a thing.

Don't do anything to it yourself yet since it's under warranty and unfortunately you probably should take it to the dealership. Before you go though if they mess with tires or oil check everything and be sure it is wrench tight and not just finger tight we had a 2005 Corolla CE leak oil all over the garage because of that.
