Why did my '97 Toyota Avalon start honking and flashing its lights in the middle of the night?

Default Why did my '97 Toyota Avalon start honking and flashing its lights in the middle of the night?
My car sits outside my house and in the middle of the night just started honking and its lights were going on and off. My husband and I got up to go shut it off but it just stopped. not sure how long it was doing it though. I don't have an alarm system so I'm curious as to whats going on.

Ok one night suddenly our car started doing that thing too!















Lights were blinking honking!















So what my dad did was take out the wire going to the battery LOL















And it went off. My dad told me that it was just a grounded wire. Grounded like a broken wire.

Factory System?? Do you have remotes? to Lock/Unlock doors.















I've seen where the batteries start to go bad in the remotes and emit a signal causing that kind of problem. ???































Just an idea!
