You did not mention how many miles you have on your odometer bec the light might indicate your 2009 Corolla requires an oil change (I think every 5000 miles), and there are instructions on how to reset after getting your vehicle serviced. Otherwise, if it something else is wrong, I would recommend stopping at your local Toyota dealer soon bec most likely the repair is covered under the 36 month, 36,000 mile warranty.
