Did you feel of it? Is it just water? Did you have a big rain? If so the vents in front of the windshield might be stopped up.
--A heater core can rupture but usually the passenger side will be soaked. If there is antifreeze in the vehicle the "wetness" will have a greasy feel and a sweet smell. The coolant will also be low.
--Another possible problem could be a stopped up heater a/c box vent tube. This is the tube that exits the fire wall/floorboard on the passenger side and drips condensation on the ground when the a/c is running. If the tube stops up the box will fill up and guess where it goes? In the floor. Again this would usually affect the passenger side but strange things happen in life right?
