Default The front end of my 1990 Toyoto 2WD pickup is a mess! Tires seem to be going in two...
...different directions and? squealing. No visible (to me) broken parts. Tie rods can be rotated a bit by hand and one boot seems to be leaking grease. I am not yet ready to abandon my old work horse (166,000 miles) . Help!

You need to get the alignment and tie rods inspected.

check if yourself































jack it up shake wheel side to side checks links between wheels such as tie rod and pitman arm shake wheel top to bottom checks ball joint an dupper or lower control arm bushing































needs a shop for sure

tie rod ends or idler arm. Have a friend wiggle the steering wheel back and forth while your underneath. Look for any play. The Idler arm is on the left side. If its bad you can replace it without having the truck aligned right away. 166k is nothing for a Toyota. I had a customer with 430k on the original engine. Good luck.
