Why do Toyota's always have so many km's on them?

Default Why do Toyota's always have so many km's on them?
say if you take any vehicle make and a toyota both from the same year, the Toyota is almost guaranteed to ALWAYS have more km's

Its odd, but your right. Prolly because Toyotas (at least older ones) run forever and the other cars usually end up in the wrecker when the km's get high, so the only comparable cars of the same year are the ones that granny drove to the supermarket once a week for the first 5 years of the cars life.

not always.... i bet a honda can keep up with it mileage wise.































but generally japanese cars last a long time.































wise japanese designers.

It's because they have smaller engines that use less fuel. People who commute long distances tend to buy cars that have better fuel economy. There are plenty of Crown Victoria Taxis that have over a quarter million miles on them. The Police Interceptors don't rack up as many miles because police departs have a policy to replace cars after they reach 100k miles or so.

they are reliable....and they are built like tanks.....just like someone else said...the old ones will probably last forever...i know my 1992 will...i take care of it....toyota has a good rep....atleast for the older cars that were actually made in japan as mine was...i was watching a clip about japanese subs what were sunk in the 1940's...i turned to my boyfriend and said..i bet those things still fire up if they need to be..lol....those japanese can make some nice things....
