I'm just wondering because i heard the Mr2 turbo that was sold in japan had a more powerful engine then the one sold in the USA. I'm just wondering if this is true.

Yes depending on the year the Japanese engine had up to 40 more horsepower. It doesnt have the emissions regulations that the USDM engine does(such as EGR) it uses a MAP sensor vs. an AFM and other little things.
