Default TOYO tires P245/55R19 on 2008 Highlander - 14K miles and rubber is coming off of all 4
tires? What's the cause? Tires rotated every 6K and car is 18 months old; The rubber looks like the tires have been numerous cuts and the rubber is just cominmg off. I've been researching these tires and there seems to be alot of complaints. Does anyone know of a class action suit or a recall? What are the next best steps to take.















I have some interesting information - My Highlander is a Sport model so changing wheels is not an option. I contact Toyo customer service at 1-800-442-8696 and they gave me 2 tire shops to bring my car for inspection. The conclusion is that all 4 tires have premature wear. Toyo will reimburse 50% of the cost for new tires. I also went with the Toyo H/T tires that have a 64K warranty which is better than the Bridgestone. Toyo is very much aware of the issue with the A20 tires.

You need to go to the Highlander chat site...A friend of mine had the same problem and he got new tires...I guess the tires that toyo made for them are very cheap....He found a number of other people were having the same problem......He had to call a number for toyo and they sent him some paper work to sign then it was all down hill from there!!!!

Yeah these tire are realy bad, just goto the dealer and keep bothering them about it, they are under warranty, they will keep saying that they aren't, this happened on my 2009 highlander.
