...wanting either a? blue or a white bulb.tha catch is that my dealer said that aftermarket bulbs burn electric wirings etc etc.. how do i avoid all these burnouts and still get the headlight color I want?? and how do i know w/c bulbs will do damage and w/c ones will not?

when u wer taliking about the blue bulb burning hotter and quicker..that just concerns the bulb right? the wirings should not have any problems or it shouldn't be affected? .. also as long as the bulb supports the wattage my wirings support then everything should be ok?

Bulb color has nothing to do with the wiring overheating. The only thing that will damage the wiring is higher than stock wattage bulbs. Blue tinted bulbs will only accomplish 2 things in reality. 1. the tint absorbs useful light so the bulbs will either be dimmer or will have a thinner filament that runs hotter to compensate so it burns out quicker. 2. the light the tint absorbs is converted to heat so once again the bulb runs hotter and burns out quicker.

Using higher wattage bulbs will definitely burn (or some people would say "short") your wires.

Seen many people who fixed higher wattage bulbs on their cars and made a lot of noise to the mechanic when their wires burn.
