Default what about 221,000 miles for a 1999 Toyota Camry Solara?
good or bad? im looking for a new car.

What is the price? I have a 99 Toyota Camry Solara SLE v6. Best car I ever owned in my life, and the best car to drive as well. Smooth, quite, powerful. rich, elegant, and sporty, all in one wonderful package. Too bad Toyota ruined it in later years by shrinking and warping, and totally destroying the rich chunky look of the 1999.One of the best and one of the fewest good looking cars Toyota ever built...but only on the 1999 model year, every year after that, Toyota methodically destroyed the integrity of the look by shrinking the body, cheapening the lights, plasticizing the dash. My Solara has only 37,000 miles on it and garage kept. It will indeed be a classic car one day and displayed at car shows. For your 1999 Solara is a classic car, built with total quality...something not seen in any new Toyota today.

Alot goes into factor whether a certain mileage is "good or bad". If the vehicle has been well-maintained, and is showing no signs of mechanical issues, then I wouldn't worry about anything. Toyota has a very good reputation for their vehicles pounding out the miles. My Toyota pickup has 210,000 miles and runs like a champ.
