Where is the coolant temperature guage sender unit on a toyota tercel?

Default Where is the coolant temperature guage sender unit on a toyota tercel?
i have a 91 tercel is a non-functioning coolant temp guage (needle doesn't move ever) and when i looked under my hood i notice there's a yellow/green wire that's loose ant not connected to anything by the upper radiator hoses and by the coolant temperature sensor.































I need to figure out where to locase this gauge sending unit, and where this wire goes.































any ideas>?

thank you elmer, and i think i spotte that earlier but i'm not sure if it is it or not.































It it the nut right next to thermostat? and there is just one yellow wire that connected to it right?

your unit will be in a nut on top of the block with a brass interior part all screwed into the block.
