Default Toyota Camry door handle broken?
I have a Toyota Camry, and the door handle is broken. Has anyone faced this issue, please help me in resolving this issue. Thanks a ton!

broke as in the handle itself or the mechanism....either way you need to tear the door down to replace either

You can probably replace it yourself (or get a friend) but it is a lot of work. Get one from a wrecking yard. they will most likely make you remove it yourself which is good since you want to practice on a wreck and not your car. Of course, the dealer or a body shop will install one for you. expect that to run close to $250.

I faced the same issue i just went to the junk yard pick a part and it was simple to change a little tricky but with a good light it took me less then 1 hour. junk yard cost me $2.00 to get in and $15 for the handle. make sure you get the plastic clip it breaks easy so get 2 if you find one.

It has happened to me on both a 1993 Toyota Camry LE as well as a 1998 Toyota Sienna XLE minivan. I found and bought the matching color for the Camry door handle on EBAY but for the Sienna the best price for the matching door handle was from 2 on-line Toyota dealers in Texas: Toyota of Dallas and Toyota of Richardson TX about 30% off MSRP. In both cases I watched my mechanic pop the door panel etc and the labor for each repair was about $50
