i would make sure things work with the geo! i have a 93 geo storm i just purchased and EVERYTHING has gone wrong with it. mechanics can't figure it out. test drive it and be hard on it. if it stalls at stop signs or such, do NOT buy it! this is what happened with mine, and my father thought it would be an easy fix, but now i'm stuck at college with a car that doesn't run half the time, and for some reason, mechanics and auto parts people have NO idea what geo's are half the time...i went into an auto store and they had no idea what a geo was! so be prepared for some minor difficulties with some auto stores/mechanics since geo isn't a 'huge' brand name. hope whatever you decide that it works out for you
also...realize 160k is a lot of miles...mine only has 102k and is causing me problems...make sure it has been well maintained!
