When you turn the ignition on, do you get your normal dash/gage cluster response? Gages move or light up, all the warning lights come on prior to turn over? if you get not response then it could possibly be that the battery is totally shot and you are not getting enough electrical current from a jump to start your vehicle. See if putting a battery in it from a friends car or your other vehicle will work. If nothing then you should check your fuses. Possibly an inline fuse near the battery box too.

Twice something like your situation happened to me and I had no other choice but to call a tow truck: (i) one time it turned out that the fuse link required replacement and (ii) tow truck driver couldn't also start it and was about to load Toyota on back bed of truck but tried one last thing: he pressed in & moved gear shift between park and neutral back & forth then put it into one of two, and magic: He got the engine to crank over and start!

Have you checked to see if your check engine light comes on at all. I had a similar problem. My check engine light did not come on. The problem was a short going to the computer. If it does come on. Then you might want to check your battery/cables, fuel pump, fuses/relays. Spark to your distributor and etc. I hope that this has help you out.
