if they are both lwb it should work, i had an 84 for the longest and loved it, just take a tape measure and check the length on both of them and then go buy it

Probably not, as you have the width of the transfer case in difference. But, there are machine shops in most cities that specialize in customizing drive shafts for any modification or reason, and will even custom build a shaft for you, give them a call and see what the going rates in your area are. Unless the donor shaft is free or really cheap, it may cost you less one way or the other,
