what size axle do 02 tundras have dana 44s,8'', or what?

Default what size axle do 02 tundras have dana 44s,8'', or what?
and for know confusion, i am not reffering to gears, it has 3.90s in them right now, and i am not talking about axle length info that i can get off autozone website, just wanna know the pinion size, i have asked this afew times but it has been afew months,















see you are talking about the gearing, say when you count the teeth on ring and pinion and see if you have 3.73s, 4.10s or so on. i am curious if anybody know the pinion diamater in this truck. i am getting bigger tires(have 33s now) and was curious to see how big i can go. i have had 36s on a 84 yota and it had the stock 8'' front and rear axles, but if i know my axle size, i will know what to limit my tires to, can put 38s on a 8.5'' axle, if you see what i am getting at

The pinion is measured by the number of teeth it has. the ring gear is measured the same way. The auto supply should be able to tell you the number. If not call the service manager at Toyota and get an answer. I m curious a to why you need the pinion size?

Since you're referencing Toy 8" differentials, I'll assume you're asking for the ring gear diameter rather than the pinion size. Tundras of that era had 8-1/4" ring gears. They're the same as the Sequoia and the same size (but not the same carriers) as open-diff Tacomas.
