i want to swap the engine in my toyota corolla fx16?

Default i want to swap the engine in my toyota corolla fx16?
i just bought a 1988 toyota corolla fx16 from my dad, i swapped the engine for another stock one but its wayy to slow, i know these cars can be made fast and i know it takes work, i want to know is i can just directly swap a AE101 20v Silvertop engine in it with the stock wiring harness and the bellhousing and flywheel and everythibg will line up, its a 5 speed so thats a plus, i think these came in levins right?

It should be fine. it's still a 4AGE- just one with 20 valves instead of 16.
