Toyota Matrix 2003 radio and side mirrors will not work/adjust?
I bought a ipod transmitter for my car. It was those genetic ones you put in the car adaptor. You match the station number listed on both the transmitter and car radio, then your ipod songs play through the car speakers.
I was trying to adjust the bendy support and accidentally pull the transmitter out of the cigarrette port. When that happen the radio shut off.
The radio will not go on again, and the side mirrors no longer adjusts. I suppose whatever fuse the radio was connected to is the same for the side mirrors.
It is very cold outside and the car is seven yrs. old could that what damaged the fuse? I do not think it's the transmitter but it is a coincidence the first day I used it this happened.
Is there a simple was to fix this? Should I bring it to Sears? Will they know how to fix this? I do not believe it's major enough to go to the dealership.
If anyone knows what to do it would be appericated. Radio will not work and side mirrors do not adjust.
