Default How much should I pay for a 2001 Toyota Echo (165k miles) ?
A friend is offering to sell me his car (2001 Echo with 165k miles) for $1000. I'm trying to figure out how good a deal that is considering the high mileage. He just got it checked out and it would also need new breaks pretty soon, and a tuneup. Is that a good price? What are some things I should watch out for?
