toyota Engine swaps, 3VZ-FE, 22-RE, 4A-FE?

Default toyota Engine swaps, 3VZ-FE, 22-RE, 4A-FE?
I have a geo prism. I need a new engine. The engine is the 4A-FE, I need to know if the bolt pattern connecting it to the transmision is the same as either the 22-RE or the 3VZ-FE since I have both of those engines easily available. I am fluent with Nissan and more particularly Z31 but I kno nothing of toyota.

Those engines won't fit. The 22RE was only used on rear wheel drive platforms so the transmission and location will be different. The 3VZFE is a V6 so fit will be an issue but I'm pretty sure the bolt patterns are different as well.















Try the twincam 4AGE as a swap or get another 4AFE.
