The Floor-mats Are Causing The Car Or Truck To Stick at Near FULL THROTTLE and Because Of The Shock People are Crashing At High Rates of Speed. The Cure For Now is Remove The Mats And Call Dealer THIS IS A LIFE AND DEATH ISSUE !!!!!!!

They are referring to the driver's side floormat not being secured anchored (despite hooks) where somehow the floor mat interfered with the accelerator pedal...causing the Toyota to continue in its forward motion despite the driver applying the brake pedal attempting to stop.































Note on Toyota factory mats (normally option/upgrade) the front ones have 2 holes on one end where the anchors hook & restrain the floormat from movement. Of course, some owners would rather buy generic floormats elsewhere to incl auto parts stores, Walmart, Target etc

They are caused by an electrical problem in 2007 to 2009 toyota camry's, prius's and some lexus models. I wouldn't really be to worried though. The chance of it happening to you (if you have one of these models) is very low and if it does, all you have to do is shift into neutral, and coast to a stop and turn off your vehicle. Don't try to use the brakes because it won't work.
